Jo Paris, Principal & Musical Director (AISTD, AABD)

Principal Jo, was awarded a full time scholarship, training at Stella Mann College of Performing Arts, where she graduated with a Three Year Dance Diploma and ISTD Associate in teaching with Distinction.. Since graduating she went on to perform professionally on stage & TV before setting up her very own Performing Arts School in 2005. Since then she has also launched one of the UK's top non-sole Talent Agencies where her artists have appeared in the West End, Feature Films, TV Commercials and so much more. Jo juggles her time teaching, running both Paris Performing Arts and Paris Talent Agency, as well as raising two teenagers and loves every minute of it.
Jo has been successfully teaching students aged 4-18 years for the last twenty years and has managed to achieve high examination results with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and the Associated Board of Dance faculties, as well as watching students go on to train at top Dance & Performing Arts Colleges and work professionally in our industry. As Principal Jo has a very active role in the school, Directing and Producing Shows, running the Workshops and teaching Ballet & Musical Theatre. She loves the whole ethos of her school and believes she runs an extremely friendly and professional family of students and teachers.
